Aims and Scope

The Precision Journal of Disease Biology (PJDB) provides an international platform for researchers, scholars and health professionals to publish their contributions related to human health, the biological mechanisms of disease, disease diagnosis, prevention, management and emerging health challenges. The journal promotes scientific understanding of human diseases at molecular, cellular, physiological, genetic, immunological, computational and translational approaches to contribute towards global health improvements.

PJDB further aims to support global scientific collaboration among researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and academicians to facilitate the translation of biomedical discoveries into effective strategies for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for the improvement of human and public health.

Aims

  • To provide advancements in scientific understanding of molecular, cellular, genetic, immunological, and pathological basis of human diseases.
  • To support research in epidemiology, disease prevention, and population health relevant with human diseases.
  • To highlight the advances in infectious diseases and emerging health threats.
  •  To address progress in non-communicable human diseases and associated disorders.
  • To integrate emerging advancements across biomedical and disease-related sciences.
  • Promote research on host–pathogen interactions and key areas of human infectious diseases, including microbiology, virology, parasitology, antimicrobial resistance, and emerging pathogens.
  • To accelerate the development of biomarkers, diagnostics, disease detection technologies for improved clinical outcomes.
  • To bridge laboratory discoveries with clinical and public health applications through translational research.
  • To integrate genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, and artificial intelligence in human disease research.
  • To advance in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine approaches for understanding and treatment of human diseases.
  • To foster interdisciplinary and global collaboration among researchers, clinicians and healthcare professionals in disease biology.
  • To contribute towards improved preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic strategies for better patient outcomes and global health.
