Preface

It is with great pleasure and privilege for me that I, as the Editor-in-Chief present the Precision Journal of Disease Biology (PJDB) that is published by Precision Digital Publishers, UK. PJDB is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated towards advancements in scientific knowledge in the scholarly community pertaining to biological research on diseases.

Diseases pose as a global health challenge, placing a burden on the healthcare system ultimately affecting society at large while millions are affected each year due to the rise and persistent nature of evolving diseases. Increasing prevalence of diseases at genetic, metabolic, infectious and chronic levels further emphasize the need for continuous scientific investigations to improve understanding of these diseases thereby improving patient health. The importance of innovative research is crucial in understanding disease mechanisms, their onset and progression while simultaneously promoting translational approaches to develop diagnostic, preventative and therapeutic innovative strategies.

PJDB welcomes researchers and academicians, clinicians and healthcare professionals from around the globe to utilize this platform for publication of high-quality research in disease biology and medicine. The journal is committed to advancing knowledge and understanding disease mechanisms, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention and therapeutic interventions. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, case studies, and perspectives that bridge the gap between fundamental biological research and clinical applications.
