Aims and Scope

Journal of Management and Social Innovation (JOMSI) offers a premier outlet for forward-thinking research at the intersection of business administration, management and social innovation. We invite original contributions from scholars, practitioners and policymakers that advance theory, generate empirical insight, and address real-world challenges in dynamic organizational and societal contexts.

Aims:

  • To foster interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange across management, financial and sustainability disclosure, social sciences, innovation studies  and digital transition.
  • To provide a platform where novel ideas, methods and frameworks can be shared to inform practice and policy.
  • To highlight research with tangible implications for leadership, organizations, communities and social systems.
  • To accelerate scholarship on sustainability, social responsibility, new business models and inclusive innovation.
  • To promote international perspectives and cross-cultural learning, enabling global relevance and impact.

JOMSI welcomes cutting-edge work in (but not limited to) the following domains:

Management & Organizational Innovation: strategic management, leadership and decision-making; organization design and behavior; operations, supply-chain and project innovation; human resource and talent development; entrepreneurship and innovation management; ethics and corporate governance.

Social Science Innovations: Sociology, anthropology, psychology, economics and political science; governance, public policy and social change; media, communication and cultural studies; education, learning and digital transformation; social entrepreneurship and community development; cross-cultural management, financial and sustainable disclosure, gender studies.

Interdisciplinary & Applied Research: Studies combining business economy, management and social science lenses, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methodologies; case-studies, empirical research and conceptual work offering actionable insights.

Innovation, Sustainability & Social Impact: Research exploring the nexus of innovation with sustainability, corporate social responsibility, ethical practices and inclusive growth; contributions that address organizational and societal access, equity and development and diversity management.

Global & Contextual Perspectives: Submissions that provide insights from diverse geographical, cultural and institutional settings—addressing both local relevance and broader international significance.

We especially encourage manuscripts that not only extend theoretical understanding, but also deliver practical implications for organizations, society and policy in an era of rapid change and complexity.
